hey - I'm Emilie!
It's pronounced like 'Emily', just spelled funny.
I'm someone who finds magic in light. My phone is filled with photos of random trees or houses that I've taken mid-dog walk because the light is just right, and I can't help but find beauty in the simplest things.
I inherited a collection of vintage film cameras years ago, and over time, I’ve grown fascinated by the art and history behind them. It’s amazing how these cameras have a way of capturing moments with such unique character, and they’ve inspired me to appreciate the timeless beauty in the photos I create.
I absolutely love to travel and have built part of my career around shooting internationally. Helping other photographers do the same has become a big passion of mine, and I’m always looking for new places to explore and new experiences to capture.
If you're looking for me, I might be in Homesense searching for cute (likely unnecessary) decor pieces, or cuddled up with a tea and watching a true crime doc. I love a good hike with my boyfriend, Matt and my husky, Fen, and I'm always up for sushi.
If you’re someone who also sees beauty in the small details and loves to take the extra moment to look around you and soak it in, I think we’ll get along just fine.

the home studio
I am lucky enough to have a creative space for share with clients right in my own home. The space is intimate, minimal and soft, ideal for branding, portraits and boudoir sessions. Enjoy a client bathroom with ample space to change outfits, and lots of available street parking.
Located in Alliston, the home studio is perfectly situated between Barrie and the GTA, and easily accessible for everyone. Please keep in mind that my friendly husky will generally be here during sessions so if you are allergic to dogs or nervous of them, we can happily look into finding another space for your indoor shoot.
